We had a nice short passage to San Juanico yesterday. Under sail from anchor to anchor as we are minimizing use of our engine until we get a new water lift muffler (the repairs seem to be holding but no sense pushing our luck). After many days of unsuccessful fishing underway, every time Liz started reading Swallows and Amazons yesterday, one of our lines signalled a "fish on". We caught two 24" Pacific Boninto which we barbecued last light. The kids did a great job filleting them. Photos to follow once we have internet again.
We will be here for a day and do some hiking ashore and then aim to start working our way south tomorrow.
